**Job Title: Solar PV Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar PV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) electrical and mechanical equipment. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure all tasks are performed according to site operating procedures. **Responsibilities** + Test, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV electrical and mechanical equipment. + Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with site operating procedures. + Complete Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO), the person's, Permit to Work, and job-specific documentation to conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs safely. + Proactively seek improvement opportunities in job processes and procedures. + Perform data collection and prepare reports to meet reporting requirements. + Conduct balance of plant and switchyard work as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV electrical and mechanical equipment. + Experience with Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer software for maintenance and troubleshooting. + Ability to identify safety risks and gaps in standards. + Experience in electrical testing, including insulation and thermal testing. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 certification. + PV Installer certification. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. **Work Environment** First two weeks schedule will be nights 6pm-6am Schedule will then move to either 5am-3pm or 10am-8pm **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Boulder City, Nevada. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
