Job Description
Performs on-the-job training, skills training, and some classroom training in assembly and production areas. Participates in the development and implementation of new training programs and may introduce new processes and sequences for manufacturing areas. Maintains rosters of training progress, examination records, and certification records and may monitor trainees.
**This position if for a Trainer production for Pipe Welding**
What shift will this individual be working? Please note the specific hours: Either First 6am to 4:30pm MON-THURS or Second 4pm to 2:30am MON-THURS
Will this assignment require travel?
a. Yes, they will train in VA for up to 4 months prior to coming back to Charleston.
Will the primary work site location be inside or outside the yard gates?
a. Site location will be Charleston, SC post training.
Is there an opportunity for this position to be remote?
a. No
Does the primary work site location have an elevator in the building?
a. Yes.
Will this person need PPE? If so, please list the items: Hard Hat, Steel toe Boots, hearing protection, & Safety glasses.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience; Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience. May require certification.
